The because

“Do not seek the because –

in love there is no because,

no reason,

no explanation,

no solutions.”

― Anaïs Nin, Henry And June

…And now I’m glad I didn’t know
The way it all would end the way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain
But I’d have had to miss the dance

I’d sacrifice anything come what might
For the sake of havin’ you near
In spite of a warnin’ voice that comes in the night
And repeats, repeats in my ear:
Don’t you know, little fool, you never can win?
Use your mentality, wake up to reality.
But each time that I do just the thought of you
Makes me stop before I begin
‘Cause I’ve got you under my skin.

Frank Sinatra, I got you under my skin

as dark as night

“For I have sworn thee fair, and thought thee bright,
Who art as black as hell, as dark as night.”

Fingertip touches

letting the electricity flow…like bristle points of snowflakes against your skin.

that tingle-ey…can’t sit still in your seat wiggles.
sending shivers up through your body….
right into that place that says,, delight…
Then a whispered groan escapes your mouth..
Just as the fingertip touches begin again,
and you electrify...

slip away…

He has, like me, a sense of smell.

I let him inhale me,

then I slip away.

Carry away

“You carry away with you a reflection of me, a part of me. I dreamed you; I wished for your existence. You will always be a part of my life. If I love you, it must be because we shared, at some moment, the same imaginings, the same madness, the same stage.”

You consume my heart

You consume my heart and my every thought,

but yet, I want to be consumed more by you.

The dreams we have will keep us warm.

But the first kiss is when life will begin.

The smell of her hair,

 the taste of her mouth,

the feeling of her skin

seemed to have got inside him,

or into the air all around him.

She had become a physical necessity.
